パリは苦手で、自分から行きたい気持ちになるのは珍しい。。
最後にゆっくり行ったのは１０年前に家族と。確か RCAの卒業後に家族旅行で出かけた。
パリは苦手だけれど、フランス産のファッションや雑貨、文化にはとても憧れる。
コンサバなようなアヴァンギャルドなような不思議な異文化のミクスチャーを独自の文化として消化して発信していて、中には「それどう？」と思うようなモノもあるけど、おしゃれにやってのけているモノも多くて刺激的だ。そしてそんな街に４日間もいると、嫌でも買い物には精が出る。
￥が強い事もあって、私のお買い物モードはマックスだったと思う。
１０年前には無かった新しいお店や噂のカフェが沢山出来ていて、とても新鮮に感じた。
そしてそんな町並みの変化を見ていると、古いものを今に取り入れて、今までにない新しいものに仕上げるセンスが抜群に良いなと再確認をした。これはヨーロッパに多い現象だけど日本はとても少ない。日本はどうしても古いものを壊してなくして新しいものを良しとする傾向が強い気がして、折角独特な文化が有るのにもったいない。。ブツブツ。
なーんてことを考えながら街を楽しんだ。
紅葉が輝く公園、どうやって作ったのか想像出来ない大きな古い建造物、どうしてそんなに美味しいのか分からないバゲットとバター。
悔しいけど、好きなものが多すぎる街だ。

パリはやっぱり今もちょっと苦手だけど、また行きたいなと今回は思った。
I was writing about Beaujolaisnouveau yesterday but today, I write about my trip in Paris.
It was a shopping trip with my friend and I have to say, it was very successful trip :)
To be honest, I am not so keen on Paris so it is very unusual for me to feel to go to Paris. The last time I had been there was 10 years ago, with my parents and sister whom came to Europe to attend my graduation of RCA in UK.
Even though, I am not so keen on Paris, I love French made fashion, items and culture so much and I appreciate them.
The culture here is so interesting… could be conservative but at same time could be so avant garde…
They mix different cultures and make something very unusual and unique… sometimes, it's hard to understand but often very exciting.
So I was such an interesting city for 4days, madly buying everything!!!
Luckily my ¥ was so powerful!
As it was the first visit after 10years time, I could visit so many new places! It was so exciting!
It's interesting to see how people in Paris use the old buildings to make them look so new. It's probably very European thing that respect old existings. Not so much in Japan, unfortunately…
Somehow we(Japanese) have such a strong culture but we destroy them and create completely new… such a shame…
Any way, Paris was absolutely beautiful with all the yellow leaves and huge old buildings… and unforgettable yummy baguette+butter.
I loved them!!!
Still not keen on the city… but I will be back hopefully soon.
